Looks like Daggers

Their looks,
just like daggers to your heart,
because they can't handle,
the fact that you're different.

Unafraid to stand,
while they fear the same scorn you endure,
and walk in line,
with what our world expects of them.

Controlled by petty fear,
and stereotypes,
it's almost funny,
how ridiculous it all is.

That foot that stamps down on your back,
then continues on like you were never there,
don't mind it,
for in the end you stand tall.
